Overview

A wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening day, he invites a team of experts and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park and help calm anxious investors. However, the park is anything but amusing as the security systems go off-line and the dinosaurs escape.

Life finds a way - This week we're going back to the Jurassic Era (or is that the Cretaceous period?) via way of 1990s Central America in Jurassic Park, a review 52 episodes in the making.  Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew – Ian, Liam, Ellie, and Georgia - alongside friend of the podcast, Debbie as we became so preoccupied with whether we could review it that we never considered if we should have reviewed it.  It's a chaos theory inducing 52nd episode as we consider

  • The multiple offers for the film rights to Michael Crichton's book, before the book had even been published
  • We go over an alternate cast list that Ian & Liam would kill for
  • We ask if the acting among the principals is any good.  We also ask whether it matters in this film?
