Good morning!  And in case we don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and good night.  Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew: Ian, Liam, and Ethan(Georgia & Megan have apparently moved to Fiji) as we're heading to Seahaven - if we can get by the forest fire and nuclear plant leak as we review The Truman Show. It's a boat ride to the end of the world in our 177th episode as we discuss:

  • Whether Jim Carrey is a good actor (again!)
  • Just how many things can you blame on Paul Giamatti
  • Liam struggles with disliking a villain that you're supposed to dislike again
  • We talk all sorts of ethics for the actors in The Truman Show
  • Just how many things go wrong in Seahaven in 1 week anyway?
  • Was bringing back Dad the worst thing that Christof could have done?
  • Ian shares a story where he refused to accommodate the costumier's choice in a play
  • We ask why Christof just doesn't let him be with who he likes in this film
  • We imagine the movie again with an almost entirely Muppet cast
  • Whether or not The Truman Show is the Best Film Ever
