Overview

Frodo Baggins and the other members of the Fellowship continue on their sacred quest to destroy the One Ring--but on separate paths. Their destinies lie at two towers--Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupt wizard Saruman awaits, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dur, deep within the dark lands of Mordor. Frodo and Sam are trekking to Mordor to destroy the One Ring of Power while Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn search for the orc-captured Merry and Pippin. All along, nefarious wizard Saruman awaits the Fellowship members at the Orthanc Tower in Isengard.

We're still walking to Mordor, please wait for the beep!.  Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew: Ian, Liam, and BFF of the BFE: James DeGuzman (Ethan and Georgia are trapped on top of a giant puppet over lunch break) as we're heading back to Mordor, Gandor, Rohan, Helms Deep and Isenguard in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It's a split personality of a 175th episode as we discuss:

  • When is a mistake not a mistake?
  • What error will Ian not stop making
  • Ian shares an issue with a guitar purchase
  • When does runtime become a legit hinderance for a film?
  • Felix has a 2nd job and shares some of his early work
  • Whether Howard Shore is the most underrated composer of all time
  • Is Middle Earth a place we want to spend more time outside of the LOTR trilogy
  • Is the LOTR trilogy a must watch for people or only if you're into fantasy?
  • We give one of the actors in this film a 2nd job, and that's the bottom line
  • Whether or not The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the Best Film Ever
