Overview

Tired of the crime overrunning the streets of Boston, Irish Catholic twin brothers Conner and Murphy are inspired by their faith to cleanse their hometown of evil with their own brand of zealous vigilante justice. As they hunt down and kill one notorious gangster after another, they become controversial folk heroes in the community. But Paul Smecker, an eccentric FBI agent, is fast closing in on their blood-soaked trail.

Don't forget your rope.  Join your favourite TransAtlantic podcasting crew: Ian, Liam, Ethan, and Georgia (Megan's out getting Liam an onion bagel) as we're heading back to Boston, flying on the wings of plot armour (or is that God armour) in The Boondock Saints courtesty of BFF of the BFE, Juleen. It's a Hot Dog of a 163rd episode as we discuss:

  • Why this film brings new meaning to the term 'hot piece of ass'
  • Ian says a joke that goes over so well, Georgia pitches that the pod will never surpass it
  • We get some literal toilet humour
  • We discuss whether writing racist characters makes the writer a racist
  • We try and explain the event that is Eurovision
  • Ian shares a story about living in Phoenix and a mini red-light district
  • We go back to the Prime well one more time
  • We ask whether anyone was telling Willem Defoe what to do in this film
  • Juleen joins us and has a go at the BFE Questionnaire
  • Whether or not The Boondock Saints is the Best Film Ever
